Duterte to skip final ICC hearing before Nov. 30 trial

MANILA, Philippines — Former President Rodrigo Duterte will not appear in the last hearing before the start of his trial for crimes against humanity in the International Criminal Court (ICC). In a document dated Oct. 30, the defense said that the Trial Chamber (TC) III allowed Duterte to skip the fifth status conference on Nov.
